Car
If you're driving from central Buzen, take Route 10 heading south. Continue on Route 10 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Oita City. Once you enter Oita City, follow the signs for Ueno. You will then take a left onto Route 197, which will lead you directly to the Oita Art Museum at 865 Ueno, Oita, 870-0100. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that there may be parking fees.

Public Transportation
To reach Oita Art Museum using public transportation, first find your way to Buzen Station. From Buzen Station, take the Nishitetsu bus bound for Oita. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Oita Station, transfer to a local bus or taxi. If taking the bus, take the Oita City Bus (Line 3 or 4) towards Ueno and get off at the Ueno bus stop. The museum is a short walk from there, located at 865 Ueno, Oita, 870-0100. The total fare for the bus from Buzen to Oita is around 600 yen.
