Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Fukuoka City. From Chikugo, take the Route 385 towards Fukuoka. Merge onto the Fukuoka Urban Expressway and follow the signs for Hakata Ward. Use exit 1-2 towards Naka. Once on Naka, continue on to 6 Chome-23-4 Naka. There is parking available nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking fees, which can range from 200-500 JPY per hour.

• Train

  To reach the RX-93ff Gundam Statue by train, first head to Chikugo's nearest train station. Take the Nishitetsu Amagi Line to Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. From Tenjin, transfer to the Fukuoka City Subway (Kuko Line) and travel towards Hakata Station. At Hakata Station, transfer to the JR Kagoshima Main Line and get off at Nakasukawabata Station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the Gundam Statue located at 6 Chome-23-4 Naka, Hakata Ward. Keep in mind that a round-trip train fare can cost approximately 1,500-2,000 JPY.

• Bus

  You can also take a bus from Chikugo to Fukuoka City. Board the Nishitetsu Bus at Chikugo Bus Station heading to Hakata. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Hakata Bus Terminal, you can walk to the Gundam Statue, which is about 15 minutes away. Bus fares typically cost around 1,000 JPY one way.
