By Car
From Chikuzen, take Route 500 towards Fukuoka. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Route 3. Take a left onto Route 3 and follow the signs for Fukuoka City. After approximately 30 km, exit at Fukuoka Expressway (Fukuoka IC) and follow Route 202 towards Hakata Ward. You will arrive at Higashi Hirao Park located at 2 Chome-1-2 Higashihiraokoen, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka. Parking is available at the park, but be sure to check for any parking fees.
By Train and Walking
If you're using public transportation, start by taking the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line from Chikuzen Station. Ride for about 30 minutes to Fukuoka Station. From Fukuoka Station, transfer to the Kuko Line and take the train to Nakasu-Kawabata Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk approximately 15 minutes to Higashi Hirao Park at 2 Chome-1-2 Higashihiraokoen, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka. Make sure to check the train schedules to plan your trip accordingly.
By Bus
From Chikuzen, you can catch a local bus from Chikuzen Bus Station to Fukuoka City. Look for buses that go towards Hakata Station. The journey will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Hakata Station, transfer to a local bus heading towards Higashi Hirao Park. The park is a short ride away, and you can ask the bus driver to alert you when you reach your stop. Be prepared to pay a small bus fare.
