Car
If you're driving, start from Chikuzen and take Route 3 towards Fukuoka. Continue on Route 3 for about 30 kilometers, following the signs for Fukuoka City. As you approach Fukuoka, merge onto the Fukuoka Urban Expressway. Take the exit for Hakata and follow the signs to Hakata Station. Once you arrive at Hakata Station, look for parking options nearby. After parking, head towards the east exit of the station, and Jotenji is just a short 10-minute walk from there.
Public Transportation
To reach Jotenji by public transportation, take the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line from Chikuzen Station. Board the train heading towards Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station, transfer to the subway and take the Kuko Line towards Hakata Station. Get off at Hakata Station after one stop. From the station, take the east exit and walk for about 10 minutes to reach Jotenji.
