If you're driving to Sumiyoshi Park from central Chikuzen, head southeast on Route 500. Follow the signs for Fukuoka, which will lead you onto the Kyushu Expressway. After about 30 minutes, take the exit towards Hakata and merge onto Route 3. Continue straight for approximately 10 minutes. You will see signs for Sumiyoshi Park as you approach the area. There's parking available near the park entrance that is generally free.

Public Transportation - Train
To reach Sumiyoshi Park using public transportation, start by taking the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line from Chikuzen Station. Travel towards Tenjin Station in Fukuoka. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Tenjin Station, transfer to the Fukuoka City Subway and take the Kuko Line towards Meinohama. Get off at the Sumiyoshi Station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Sumiyoshi Park. Exit the station, head east on Sumiyoshi Street, and follow the signs to the park.

Public Transportation - Bus
You can also take a bus from Chikuzen. Board a Nishitetsu bus heading towards Fukuoka. The ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Sumiyoshi bus stop, which is very close to the park's entrance. The bus fare is around 500 yen. Once you disembark, walk a short distance east until you reach the park.
