If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Echigo and head towards National Route 17. Follow Route 17 northbound for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for signs directing you towards Yuzawa. Once in Yuzawa, turn onto Route 291 and continue for about 5 kilometers. Zuishoan is located at 4595 Tsuchidaru, Yuzawa, which will be on your left. Parking is available on-site, so you won't have to worry about finding a spot.

For public transportation, start at the Echigo-Yuzawa Station, which is accessible via the Joetsu Shinkansen from major cities like Tokyo or Niigata. From Echigo-Yuzawa Station, take the local bus bound for Tsuchidaru. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Tsuchidaru' stop, which is the closest stop to Zuishoan. From the bus stop, it's a short 10-minute walk to 4595 Tsuchidaru. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time to plan your visit, as service may be limited.
