Train
From Fukuoka Station, take the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line towards Omuta. Get off at Yanagawa Station, which is approximately a 50-minute ride. Once you exit the station, you will find yourself in the heart of Yanagawa. Walk straight ahead and you can easily explore the city center or take a boat ride in the picturesque canals.

From Hakata Station, take the Nishitetsu Bus bound for Yanagawa. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Get off at the Yanagawa bus terminal. From there, it's a short walk to the main attractions including the canals and local restaurants.
