Getting There

    If you're driving from Hakone, take National Route 1 towards Atami. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. As you approach Atami, follow the signs for Atami City. Once in Atami, turn onto Prefectural Route 11 (also known as Atami-Kami-Yama Road) and continue for about 10 minutes. Look for signs directing you to ACAO FOREST, which is located at 1027-8 Kamitaga, Atami, Shizuoka. There is parking available at the site, but be prepared for a parking fee of around 500 yen for the day.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach ACAO FOREST via public transportation, start at Hakone-Yumoto Station. Take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Odawara Station. From Odawara, transfer to the JR Tokaido Line and take a train to Atami Station. The train journey takes about 50 minutes. Once at Atami Station, exit the station and catch a local bus bound for ACAO FOREST. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as service may vary. A one-way bus fare is around 300 yen. Once you arrive, follow the signs to ACAO FOREST located at 1027-8 Kamitaga.
