Car
If you are driving, head towards Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway) from your location in Hakone. Follow the signs for Hakone, and then take the exit toward Hakone. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 15 minutes. Look for signs directing you to Ishidatami Hakone, which is located in the Ashigarashimo District. There is parking available on-site, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around 500-1000 yen per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Ishidatami Hakone using public transportation, you can take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Board the train heading towards Gora Station. After approximately 20 minutes, transfer at Gora Station to the Hakone Cable Car. Take the cable car towards Sounzan Station. At Sounzan Station, switch to the Hakone Ropeway and ride it for about 10 minutes until you reach Owakudani Station. From Owakudani, you can walk or take a local bus to Ishidatami Hakone. The total cost for this trip will be around 1600 yen for the train and cable car combined.
