Public Transportation
From Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the Odakyu Line train towards Odawara. Get off at Atami Station (approximately 30 minutes). Once at Atami Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal. Look for the Izusan Line bus, which will take you directly to Izusan Shrine. The bus ride is about 20 minutes. Get off at the Izusan Jinja-mae stop, and you will find the entrance to Izusan Shrine a short walk from there.
Car
If you are driving from Hakone, take Route 1 towards Atami. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic. As you approach Atami, follow the signs for Izusan Shrine. You will need to turn left onto Izusan Road, following the signs for the shrine. There is parking available near Izusan Shrine. After parking, walk a few minutes to reach the entrance of the shrine.
