Car
If you're driving from Hakone, take Route 1 towards Odawara. Continue on Route 1 until you reach the intersection with Route 134. Turn left onto Route 134 and follow the signs for Kamakura. Continue straight for about 30 minutes until you reach Kamakura. Once in Kamakura, look for signs directing you to Ōmachi. The temple is located at 1 Chome-12-11 Ōmachi. There is parking available nearby, but it can be limited, so plan accordingly.
Public Transportation
To reach Joei-ji by public transport, start at Hakone-Yumoto Station. Take the Odakyu Line train bound for Odawara. Transfer at Odawara Station to the JR Tōkai Line and take the train to Kamakura Station. Upon arrival at Kamakura Station, exit the station and head towards the East Exit. From there, you can take a bus (bus number 23) towards Ōmachi. Get off at the Ōmachi bus stop. Joei-ji is a short walk from the bus stop, located at 1 Chome-12-11 Ōmachi.
