Car
If you are driving, head east on Route 138 from Hakone. Follow the signs for Fujikawaguchiko. As you approach the town, keep an eye out for signs to Kawaguchi Asama Shrine. The shrine is located at 1 Kawaguchi, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi. There is parking available near the shrine, so you can park your car and walk to the entrance.
Public Transport
To reach Kawaguchi Asama Shrine using public transportation, start by taking the Hakone Tozan Railway to Odawara Station. From Odawara Station, transfer to the Fujikyu Railway and take the Fujisan Limited Express to Kawaguchiko Station. Once you arrive at Kawaguchiko Station, you can take a local bus or taxi directly to the shrine. The shrine is located approximately 10 minutes away from the station by bus or taxi.
