Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by entering the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) and head towards Kawaguchiko. Take the Kawaguchiko Interchange exit and follow the signs for Lake Kawaguchi. Once on Route 139, continue driving until you reach 3026-1 Kawaguchi, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0304. The Kawaguchiko Konohana Museum will be on your right. Parking is available on-site, but there may be a fee depending on the duration of your stay.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a bus from Kawaguchiko Station. Look for the Fujikyu Bus line (富士急バス) that goes to Lake Kawaguchi. Board a bus heading towards the 'Kawaguchiko Konohana Museum' stop. The journey takes about 15 minutes and costs approximately 300 yen. Once you arrive at the stop, the museum is a short walk from the bus stop.

• Public Transportation (Train and Bus)

  Alternatively, if you are coming from Tokyo, take the JR Chuo Line to Otsuki Station, then transfer to the Fujikyu Railway and take the Fujisan Limited Express to Kawaguchiko Station. From Kawaguchiko Station, follow the instructions for the bus route mentioned above. The total travel time is around 2.5 to 3 hours, and the train fare is approximately 2,400 yen.
