Getting There

  • Car

    From central Fujikawaguchiko, head southeast on Route 139 (Fujikawaguchiko Road). Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you see the sign for Mount Fuji Distant Worship Site (Tenku no Torii). Turn right at the sign onto Kawaguchi 1119-2. The site will be on your left after approximately 300 meters. Look for the iconic Torii gate.

    Start at Fujikawaguchiko Station. Take the Fujikyu Railway bus towards Lake Kawaguchi. After about 10 minutes, get off at the Tenku no Torii bus stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 5 minutes south on Kawaguchi 1119-2 until you reach the Mount Fuji Distant Worship Site (Tenku no Torii). It will be located on your left, with the Torii gate visible from the road.
