If you are driving from central Hakone, head southeast on Route 1 (the main road). Follow the signs for Yumoto. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach Kumano Shrine located at 614 Yumoto, Hakone. There is limited parking available near the shrine, so be sure to arrive early, especially on weekends.

From Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Bus (line bound for 'Yumoto'). The bus ride takes about 5 minutes. Get off at the 'Kumano Shrine' bus stop. The shrine is a short walk from the stop. Be mindful of the bus schedule as services may be less frequent in the evening.
