    If you are driving from Hakone, head east on Route 1 towards Gotemba. After about 15 km, take the exit toward Route 138, following signs for Yamanakako. Continue on Route 138 for around 20 km until you reach Yamanakako town. Look for the signs pointing to Hirano. Once you arrive in Hirano, follow the local roads leading up to Mt. Mikuni, which is well-marked.

    To reach Mt. Mikuni using public transportation, start by taking the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. From Odawara Station, transfer to the JR Gotemba Line and take a train to Yamanakako Station. Once you arrive at Yamanakako Station, you can take a local bus towards Hirano. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Mt. Mikuni, and follow the signs to the mountain peak.
