Public Transportation (Train and Cable Car)
From Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Gora Station. This journey takes about 35 minutes. Upon arriving at Gora Station, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Cable Car and ride to Sounzan Station. The cable car ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Once at Sounzan Station, transfer to the Hakone Ropeway. Take the ropeway towards Owakudani, which will take around 20 minutes. Make sure to disembark at Owakudani Station. The total cost for this journey is about 1,820 yen one way.
