Public Transport
From Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Bus towards Moto-Hakone. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Hakone-en' bus stop, which is directly in front of the attraction. The bus fare is around 1,200 yen. Alternatively, from Odawara Station, take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Hakone-Yumoto Station and transfer to the bus.
Taxi
Taxis are available from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The ride to Hakone-en takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated fare is between 4,000 and 6,000 yen. There are taxi stands near the Hakone-Yumoto Station.
