From the Hiroshima countryside, set your GPS to 1 Chome-1-89 Higashisendamachi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima, 730-0053. If you're coming from the outskirts, take Route 54 (Hiroshima Expressway) and follow signs for the city center. Once in the Naka Ward area, look for parking options nearby as street parking may be limited. There are several public parking lots within walking distance to the monument.

If you are using public transportation, head to the nearest train station, such as Hiroshima Station. From there, take the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) tram Line 1 (you can also take Line 2 or 6) towards Miyahama Onsen and get off at the 'Hatchobori' stop. From Hatchobori, it is a 10-minute walk to the monument. Follow the signs towards the Peace Memorial Park, which is a notable landmark in the area.

Once you arrive at the Hatchobori tram stop, exit the tram and head south towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the Peace Memorial Park entrance. The Monument of Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Victims is located within the park, so you can simply follow the pathways that lead towards the center of the park. It’s a pleasant walk, and you will pass other historical sites along the way.
