Public Transport
From Hiroshima Station, take the JR Sanyo Line towards Mihara. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at Saijo Station. Once at Saijo Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located just outside. Board the Higashihiroshima City Bus (route number 1 or 2) that is heading towards 'Ikoinomori Park'. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Ikoinomori Park' bus stop. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of the park.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and want to cycle, rent a bicycle from any of the rental stations in Hiroshima. Head towards the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and follow the route along the riverside towards the JR Sanyo Line. Continue on the cycling path that leads you out of the city towards Higashihiroshima. The ride takes around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your pace.
