Getting There

Ferry
To reach the Miyajima History and Folklore Museum, you will first need to take a ferry to Miyajima Island. Start at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park (Hiroshima Heiwa Kinen Koen) and make your way to the Hiroshima Ferry Terminal, which is about a 10-minute walk from the park. Follow the signs to the ferry terminal, and look for the ferry heading to Miyajima. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes and offers beautiful views of the Seto Inland Sea. Once you arrive at Miyajima, disembark the ferry and head towards the main street (Miyajima Shopping Street).
