Walking

From Hiroshima Station, exit the station and head south towards the Peace Memorial Park. It's approximately a 20-minute walk (1.5 km). Walk past local shops and cafes until you reach the park. The Mahatma Gandhi Statue is on the north side of the park, near the Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims.

Public Transport

From Hiroshima Station, take the Hiroshima Electric Railway (tram) Line 2 (the 'Hondori' line) towards 'Eba'. Get off at 'Genbaku Dome-mae' stop, which is about a 10-minute ride. From the tram stop, walk towards the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. The Mahatma Gandhi Statue is located within the park, a short walk from the Genbaku Dome. The fare for a single tram ride is a flat ¥240.
