Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Hitachi and head towards Route 6. Follow Route 6 for approximately 30 kilometers towards Tokyo. After you reach Ueno, take the exit toward Route 4 and continue for about 4 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Yanaka, and follow these to reach 5 Chome-8-28 Yanaka, Taito City. Parking is limited in the area, so be prepared to find a nearby parking lot.

Public Transportation (Train)
To reach Kannōnji Temple by train, start at Hitachi Station. Take the Joban Line towards Ueno Station. The journey will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line and take the train towards Yoyogi-Uehara. Get off at Nishi-Nippori Station. From there, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line and head to Nippori Station. Finally, take a short bus ride or walk to 5 Chome-8-28 Yanaka, Taito City, where the temple is located. Be sure to check the train schedules for any changes.

From Hitachi Station, you can also take a highway bus to Tokyo. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, transfer to the Yamanote Line and head to Nippori Station.
