Car
If you're driving from central Hitachi, head southeast on Route 6 towards Hitachinaka. Continue for about 15 minutes (approximately 10 km). After passing the Hitachi Seaside Park entrance, look for signs directing you to Miharashi no Oka. The parking lot is available on-site, but there may be a parking fee. Check local signage upon arrival.
Public Transportation
Begin your journey at Hitachi Station. Take the JR Joban Line towards Katsuta Station, which takes approximately 10 minutes. From Katsuta Station, transfer to the Hitachinaka Seaside Railway, and board a train heading towards Minami-Katsuta. Get off at Mawatari Station (about a 15-minute ride). From Mawatari Station, it’s a 10-minute walk to Miharashi no Oka. Follow the signs towards Hitachi Seaside Park and enjoy the scenic path leading to the park entrance.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle at various rental shops in Hitachi. Ride southeast towards Hitachinaka, using Route 6 for a direct path. The ride is approximately 10 km and will take about 30-40 minutes. There are bike racks available at Miharashi no Oka for parking your bicycle.
