  • Public Transportation

    If you are starting from Hitachi Station, take the JR Joban Line train towards Ueno. After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, get off at Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and take the train towards Shinjuku. Get off at Ginza Station (2 stops). At Ginza Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and take the train towards Naka-Meguro. Get off at Ningyocho Station (3 stops). Upon exiting the station, walk towards the east exit and head towards 2 Chome-2 Nihonbashiningyocho, which is about a 5-minute walk. The Ningyocho Mechanical Clock Tower will be right in front of you.

    From Hitachi, get on the Joban Expressway (E6) heading towards Tokyo. The drive will take about 1 hour and 45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach the outskirts of Tokyo, take the exit towards Shinjuku. Follow the signs for Shinjuku and merge onto Shinjuku-dori. Continue on Shinjuku-dori until you reach Chuo-dori, then turn right. Follow Chuo-dori and keep an eye out for Nihonbashiningyocho; the Ningyocho Mechanical Clock Tower will be located at 2 Chome-2 Nihonbashiningyocho on your right. There may be parking available nearby, but be sure to check local parking regulations.
