From Hitachi, get onto Route 6 heading south. Follow Route 6 for approximately 60 kilometers. As you approach Tokyo, look for signs for the Shuto Expressway. Take the exit for the Shuto Expressway and follow the signs towards Shinjuku. Continue on the expressway until you reach the city center.
