Getting There

Car
If you are driving from central Hitachi, head south on Route 6 (also known as the Joban Expressway). Follow the signs for Ibaraki and continue on this road for about 15 minutes. Take the exit toward Hitachi-Naka and merge onto Route 245. After approximately 5 minutes, you will see signs for Kaimon Bridge. Turn left onto Kaimoncho and you will arrive at the bridge, located at 12, Hitachinaka, Ibaraki 311-1222.

From Hitachi Station, take the Hitachinaka Seaside Railway. Board the train toward Aso. After about 10 minutes, you will arrive at Kaimon Station. From Kaimon Station, it's about a 15-minute walk to Kaimon Bridge. Exit the station and head east on Kaimoncho, then turn left at the first intersection. Continue straight until you reach the bridge. Note that train fares are approximately 300 JPY.
