  • Public Transport

    From Tokyo, take the JR Joban Line from Ueno or Shinagawa Station to Katsuta Station (approx. 1.5 hours, ¥3,820 - ¥5,500). From Katsuta Station East Exit Bus Stop No. 2, take a bus to Hitachi Seaside Park (15-20 minutes, ¥400 one way). Alternatively, during peak seasons, a special non-stop bus runs from Katsuta Station to the West Gate. A roundtrip bus ticket from Katsuta Station to Hitachi Seaside Park costs ¥1,200 and includes park admission.

  • Driving

    From the Kita-Kanto Expressway, take the Hitachi Seaside Park IC, which is about 1km from the park. Alternatively, from the Joban Expressway, take Route 245 from the Hitachi-Minami-Ota IC, which is about 15km from the park. Parking is available at the West Gate, South Gate, and Kaihin Gate (Seabreeze Entrance). Parking fees are ¥520 per day. During peak seasons, temporary overflow car parks are available. The toll fee between Hitachinaka IC and Hitachi Seaside Park IC is ¥100 for ordinary cars.
