If you're driving from central Hitachi, take Route 6 (Higashi-Kanto Expressway) heading towards Mito. Follow the signs for Mito and exit at Mito Interchange. Continue on Route 50 towards Mito City. Once in Mito, follow the signs to Kōbuntei, located at 1 Chome-3-3 Tokiwacho. There is parking available nearby, although it may incur a fee of approximately 500 yen for a few hours.
