Car
If you're driving, head towards Asahikawa City. Use the Hokkaido Expressway and take the Asahikawa Interchange (IC). From there, follow Route 39 towards Asahikawa city center. Continue on Tokiwadori street until you reach 3 Chome Tokiwadori, where Asahibashi is located. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for potential fees (usually around 300-500 JPY per hour).
Train
For those using public transportation, take the JR Hokkaido train to Asahikawa Station. The journey from Sapporo takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Asahikawa Station, exit the station and walk to the bus terminal located right outside. From there, take the local bus (number 5 or 6) towards the city center, and get off at the Tokiwadori stop. Asahibashi will be a short walk from the bus stop, located at 3 Chome Tokiwadori.
Bus
If you prefer a direct bus route, you can take a highway bus from Sapporo to Asahikawa. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and the bus will drop you off at the Asahikawa Bus Terminal. From the bus terminal, follow the signage to the local buses or walk (about 20 minutes) to Asahibashi at 3 Chome Tokiwadori.
