Getting There

  • Car

    From Hyuga Interchange on the Higashi Kyushu Expressway, it's approximately a 14-minute drive to Hyuga Cape. Follow the signs for Cape Hyuga. There is a free parking lot available near the Umagase Tea House. Parking is free.

  • Public Transport

    From JR Hyuga-shi Station, take a route bus bound for AEON Town Hyuga and then a taxi to Cape Hyuga (about 4 km). Alternatively, a taxi directly from Hyuga-shi Station takes about 15 minutes. Taxi fare from Hyuga-shi Station to Hyuga Cape is approximately ¥2,000 - ¥2,500.

  • Bicycle

    Bicycles can be rented at Machinoeki Tomitaka Bussankan in Hyuga-shi Station. From there, it's a scenic ride to Cape Hyuga, approximately 30-40 minutes. Rental fees vary, but expect to pay around ¥500-¥1000 for a few hours.
