Getting There

    If you are driving from central Ise, take Route 42 south towards Meiwa. Continue on Route 42 for about 20 minutes. Once you reach the intersection at Saikū, turn right onto Prefectural Route 37. Follow this road for about 5 minutes, and you will see signs for the Site of the Abstinence Palace (Saiku) on your left. There is parking available on-site.

    From Ise Station, take the Kintetsu Line train towards Taki. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Meiwa Station. From Meiwa Station, you can take a local bus (Meiwa Town Bus) towards Saiku. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes.
