Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from central Ise, head east on Route 42. Continue on Route 42 for approximately 4 kilometers. Turn left onto Route 37 and follow the signs for Tsukiyominomiya. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto 1 Chome Miyajiri. The shrine will be on your left. Parking is available nearby, but note that there may be a fee of around 500 yen for parking.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From Ise Station, take the Meitetsu Bus bound for 'Tsukiyomi Shrine.' The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Tsukiyomi Shrine bus stop, it is a short 5-minute walk to Tsukiyominomiya. Follow the path leading towards the shrine, passing through the entrance gate. The bus fare is approximately 300 yen.

  • Public Transportation - Train and Walk

    From Ise Station, take the Kintetsu Line train towards Toba. Get off at Ujiyamada Station, which takes about 10 minutes. From Ujiyamada Station, you can walk to Tsukiyominomiya in approximately 20 minutes. Exit the station and head towards the main road, then follow the signs to Tsukiyominomiya, which is located at 1 Chome-3-19 Miyajiri. The train fare is around 200 yen.
