If you're driving from the center of Iyo, start by heading south on Route 56. Continue straight for about 15 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 33. Turn left onto Route 33. After about 5 kilometers, you will merge onto Route 4. Follow this road for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for signs pointing to Otain Monument as you approach Oshima. The monument will be on your left, just off the main road. There is a small parking area available for visitors.
