Car
If you are traveling by car, start from central Izu City. Use the Izu Skyline (Izu Kōgen Expressway) for a scenic drive. Exit at the 'Jizodo' exit and follow the signs to Banjō Falls. The address is 776-1 Jizodo, Izu, Shizuoka 410-2515. The drive takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Please note that parking is available near the falls.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train on the Izukyu Corporation line from Izu City Station to Izu-Okuni Station. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. From Izu-Okuni Station, you can take a local bus towards Jizodo. Get off at the 'Banjō Falls' stop, which is the nearest stop to the falls. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance for return times.
Walking
Once you arrive at Banjō Falls by either car or public transportation, there is a short walking path that leads to the falls. The path is well-maintained and takes about 10 minutes to reach the viewing area of the falls. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the natural beauty along the way.
