Car
If you are driving from Kai, take Route 52 (Minobu Road) heading southeast. Continue on Route 52 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 135. Merge onto Route 135 and follow the signs towards Itō. After about 10 kilometers, turn left onto Route 14 and continue for another 5 kilometers. The Izu Kogen Iris Garden will be on your right at 652-50 Ike, Itō, Shizuoka 413-0234. Parking is available on-site but may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
From Kai, make your way to the nearest train station (Kōfu Station) to catch a train. Take the JR Chuo Line from Kōfu Station to Atami Station (approximately 60 minutes). At Atami Station, transfer to the JR Ito Line and ride it for about 30 minutes to Itō Station. From Itō Station, you can take a local bus or taxi directly to the Izu Kogen Iris Garden located at 652-50 Ike, Itō, Shizuoka 413-0234. Note that the bus may have a fare of around 500 yen.
