The beach features a rocky coastline, jutting rock formations, and clear emerald-green waters, perfect for a refreshing swim or snorkel.What sets Hagachizaki Beach apart is its resident monkey population. The monkeys roam freely in the area, adding a touch of wilderness to the coastal scenery. Visitors can purchase food to feed the monkeys through iron grates, ensuring a safe and enjoyable interaction. While swimming is allowed, it's typically limited to before 3 PM due to tidal conditions.The beach provides basic amenities such as restrooms and showers, with showers costing ¥300. You can either walk back up to the parking lot or take a shuttle if you don't want to walk in your swimsuit. Nearby, local shops offer fresh seafood and snacks. Hagachizaki Beach is open daily, offering ample time to explore and unwind in this beautiful seaside paradise.

Public Transport
From Izu City, take the Izu Kyuko Line to Izukogen Station. Transfer to the Minamiizu Tokai Bus bound for Ihama and disembark at the 'Hagachizaki' bus stop. The bus journey takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around ¥600. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the beach.
Car
From Izu City, drive south on Route 135 towards Minamiizu. As you approach Minamiizu, follow the signs for Ihama. Continue on Route 135 until you reach the junction for Route 414. Turn left onto Route 414 and follow the signs for Hagachizaki Beach. Parking is available near the beach for around ¥500 per day.
