Car
From the center of Kai, head south on Route 20 towards Kofu. Continue driving for about 15 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 140. Merge onto Route 140 and follow the signs towards Tokyo. After approximately 70 kilometers, merge onto the Chuo Expressway and continue driving for another 30 kilometers. Take the exit for Koto City and follow the signs for Etchujima Pier. Once you arrive in Koto City, look for signs directing you to 3 Chome-3 Etchujima, where the pier is located.
Public Transportation
From Kai Station, take the JR Chuo Line train heading towards Tokyo. After about 1 hour and 30 minutes, transfer at Shinjuku Station to the JR Sobu Line. Board the train bound for Chiba and alight at Koto Station. From Koto Station, exit and catch the Toei Bus (Bus No. 01) towards Etchujima. Get off at the 'Etchujima' bus stop, which is just a short walk from 3 Chome-3 Etchujima, where Etchūjima Pier is located.
