If you are driving from the center of Kai, take Route 20 heading east. Continue on Route 20 for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Tokyo. Follow signs for Chiyoda City. Once in Chiyoda, take the exit towards Kioicho. The Hotel New Otani Japanese Garden is located at 4-1 Kioicho, Chiyoda City, Tokyo 102-8578. There is parking available at the hotel for guests, but do check for any fees associated with parking.

From Kai Station, take the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo. This journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Transfer at Tokyo Station to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. Take the Marunouchi Line to Kasumigaseki Station. From Kasumigaseki, it is a 10-minute walk to the Hotel New Otani Japanese Garden. Be sure to check the train schedules as they can vary, and consider purchasing a Suica or Pasmo card for easy fare payment.
