Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car from central Kai, head south on Route 20 towards Kofu. Continue on Route 20 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 52. Merge onto Route 52 heading east towards the city of Otsuki. Stay on Route 52 for about 30 kilometers. Take the exit for Route 139 and follow the signs for Nakano City. After approximately 10 kilometers, you'll reach Nakano City. From there, navigate to 4 Chome-1-1 Numabukuro, which is the address for Jissoin. Note that parking might be available nearby, but confirm any associated costs.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Jissoin using public transportation, start by taking a train from Kai to Kofu Station, which is approximately a 20-minute ride on the JR Chuo Line. From Kofu Station, transfer to the JR Chuo Line bound for Shinjuku and get off at Nakano Station after about one hour. At Nakano Station, exit and head to the bus terminal located outside the station. Take the local bus heading towards Numabukuro for around 10 minutes.
