Subway
If you are near Shinjuku Station, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (Red Line) towards Ogikubo. Get off at Nishi-Shinjuku Station. From Nishi-Shinjuku Station, exit through the 'A1' exit. Once outside, walk straight, and you will see the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building directly ahead. It is about a 10-minute walk.

From Shinjuku Station, you can also take the JR Yamanote Line. Ride the train in the direction of Shibuya and get off at Shinjuku Station. From there, follow the previous guidance or take the Toei Oedo Line from Shinjuku Station to Nishi-Shinjuku-gochome Station. Exit at 'A2' and walk straight for about 5 minutes to reach the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
