If you are driving from central Kai, take Route 20 towards Tachikawa. Continue on Route 20 for approximately 15 kilometers. Once you reach Tachikawa, follow signs to 6 Chome Nishikicho. You should find parking options nearby. Please note that parking fees may apply.

Public Transportation
To reach Tachikawa Park by public transport, start at Kai Station. Take the JR Chuo Line train towards Tokyo and get off at Tachikawa Station (about a 30-minute ride). Once you arrive at Tachikawa Station, exit the station and head towards the South Exit. From there, you can either walk to Tachikawa Park, which is about a 15-minute walk (1.2 km), or take a local bus that stops near the park. The bus fare is around 210 yen.

If you prefer to walk from Tachikawa Station to Tachikawa Park, exit the station from the South Exit and head south on Route 2. Continue straight until you reach Nishikicho, where you will see signs for the park. The walk takes around 15 minutes and is quite pleasant as you pass through the local area.
