Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Kai city. Head south on Route 20 (Chuo Road) for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to the Tamagawa area. Turn onto Route 300 and follow it for another 7 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Once you reach Tamagawa, you'll see signs leading you directly to Tamagawa Hot Spring. There is parking available on-site, but be mindful of potential parking fees.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin your journey at Kai Station. Take the Fujikyu Railway's Fujisan Limited Express towards Otsuki. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at Takaosanguchi Station. From there, catch the local bus to Tamagawa Onsen (Tamagawa Hot Spring). The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as services may vary, and be prepared for a small fare for the bus, usually around 500 yen.
