From Kanazawa Station, it's approximately a 20-minute walk to Geisha House Shima. Head east from the station, following the main street. Cross the Asano River and continue into the Higashi Chaya District. Look for signs directing you to Geisha House Shima.

From Kanazawa Station, take the Kanazawa Loop Bus (either clockwise or counter-clockwise). Get off at the Hashiba-cho (RL5) bus stop for the clockwise loop or the Higashi Chaya District (LL11) bus stop for the counter-clockwise loop. From Hashiba-cho, walk back and turn right at the second corner. From the Higashi Chaya District bus stop, it's a short walk to Geisha House Shima. The bus fare is ¥210.

Taxis are readily available at Kanazawa Station. The taxi rank is located at the east exit of the station. A taxi ride to Geisha House Shima takes about 10 minutes and costs approximately ¥1000. Note that fares may increase at night.
