    Car

    From Tokyo, take the Tohoku Expressway (E4) northbound. After approximately 140 km, take the exit for Kanuma. Follow the signs for Route 121 towards Kanuma City. After about 15 minutes on Route 121, turn left onto Kusagyu Street. Kohoen will be on your right at 3027 Kusagyu, Kanuma, Tochigi 322-0101. Make sure to have cash for any tolls on the expressway, which can cost around 2,000 to 3,000 yen depending on the route.

    Train and Bus

    From Tokyo Station, take the Tohoku Shinkansen (bullet train) to Utsunomiya Station. This journey takes about 50 minutes. At Utsunomiya Station, transfer to the JR Utsunomiya Line and head to Kanuma Station, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once at Kanuma Station, take the Kanuma City Community Bus (Kusagyu Line) towards Kusagyu. Get off at the Kusagyu stop, which is about a 10-minute ride.
