If you are driving from Tokyo, take the Tohoku Expressway (E4) towards Utsunomiya. Continue on the expressway for approximately 140 kilometers. Take the exit for Nikko (Nikko IC) and follow the signs for Nikko National Park. From the Nikko IC, continue on Route 119 for about 10 kilometers until you reach Fujihara. Look for parking signs near Nijimi Falls upon arriving in the area. The falls are located just a short walk from available parking areas.

For those traveling by train, take the Tohoku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Utsunomiya Station. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs approximately 5,000 JPY for a one-way ticket. From Utsunomiya Station, transfer to the JR Nikko Line and take a train to Nikko Station, which takes about 45 minutes and costs around 1,200 JPY. Once at Nikko Station, you can catch a local bus heading to Fujihara (check local bus schedules as they may vary). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes and costs around 600 JPY. After getting off at the Fujihara bus stop, Nijimi Falls is just a short 10-minute walk away.
