    Getting There

    Car

    If you are driving from Tokyo, take the Tohoku Expressway and exit at the Nikko IC. From there, follow the signs towards Nikko National Park. It will take approximately 2 hours. Once you reach the park, follow the road signs to Ryuzu Falls (Ryuzu no Taki). There is a parking lot available near the falls, but note that parking may incur a fee of around ¥500.

    Train and Bus

    From Tokyo Station, take the Tohoku Shinkansen to Utsunomiya Station (about 50 minutes). At Utsunomiya, transfer to the JR Nikko Line and take a train to Nikko Station (around 45 minutes). Once at Nikko Station, take the Kanaya Hotel bus or the Tobu Bus bound for 'Ryuzu Falls' (approximately 30 minutes). The bus fare is about ¥1,000 one way.
