Getting there

Car

If you are driving from Tokyo, take the Tōhoku Expressway (E4) from Tokyo towards Utsunomiya. Continue on the expressway for about 80 kilometers. Take the exit toward Ota and follow the signs to Ota city. Once in Ota, navigate to Shoyacho and look for 'Subaru Visitors Centre' at the address 1-1 Shoyacho, Ota, Gunma 373-0822. Parking is available on-site.

Train and Bus

From Tokyo, take the Tōhoku Shinkansen (bullet train) to Takasaki Station (approximately 1 hour). From Takasaki Station, transfer to the JR Ryomo Line and take a train to Ota Station (about 30 minutes). Upon arrival at Ota Station, you can take a local bus or taxi directly to the Subaru Visitors Centre, which is about 15 minutes away. Make sure to check the local bus schedules as they may vary.
