Train

From Kyoto Station, take the JR Special Rapid Service to Osaka Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Osaka Station, transfer to the JR Loop Line (Osaka Loop Line) and travel to Osakajokoen Station. This additional journey will take around 10 minutes. After arriving at Osakajokoen Station, exit the station and head towards the main entrance of Osaka Castle, which is a short 10-minute walk straight ahead.

Bus

From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 205 towards the 'Osaka Station' bus stop. This journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Osaka Station, transfer to the Osaka City Bus number 62 or 63, which will take you to the 'Osaka Castle' bus stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the castle's entrance.

Taxi

You can take a taxi from any location in Kyoto directly to Osaka Castle. Simply tell the driver 'Osaka Castle' or show them the address: 1-1 Osakajo, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 540-0002.
