Car
If you're driving, start by getting on the Sanyo Expressway (E2) from your location in Kinki. Follow the signs towards Miki City. Take the exit for Miki and merge onto Route 175. Continue on Route 175 for about 5 kilometers, then turn right onto Route 482. Follow Route 482 for approximately 3 kilometers until you see the signs for Dondo Dam. The dam is located at Mitsuda-1525 Shijimicho, and there is parking available near the entrance.
Train and Bus
To reach Dondo Dam using public transport, take the JR Takarazuka Line from Osaka Station or Kobe Station to Miki Station. Once you arrive at Miki Station, exit and look for the bus terminal. Board the bus heading towards Mitsuda. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Dondo Dam, which is the Mitsuda Shijimicho bus stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Dondo Dam located at Mitsuda-1525 Shijimicho.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike in Miki City. Start at Miki Station and head south towards Route 175. Follow Route 175 for about 5 kilometers, then turn right onto Route 482. Continue cycling for another 3 kilometers until you reach Dondo Dam. There are bike racks available at the dam for you to park your bicycle.
