If you're driving from Osaka, take the Kansai Expressway (Kansai Jidoshado) towards Sannomiya. Exit at the Miki Interchange and follow the signs for Route 175. Continue on Route 175 for about 10 km, then turn onto Route 423. Follow Route 423 for approximately 5 km until you reach Dondo Dam located at Mitsuda-1525 Shijimicho, Miki, Hyogo 673-0515. Please note that parking is available near the dam, and there might be a small parking fee, usually around 500 yen.

By Train and Bus
From Osaka, take the JR Takarazuka Line to Miki Station. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once at Miki Station, exit and look for the bus stop for the Miki City Bus. Take the bus towards Dondo Dam (Dondo Dam Ikou) which will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited. The bus fare is typically around 500 yen.

Another option is to take a highway bus from Kobe to Miki City. The highway bus departs from Sannomiya Station in Kobe and takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving at Miki City, transfer to the local Miki City Bus heading to Dondo Dam. The total cost for the highway bus is around 1,000 yen, plus the local bus fare.
